Liza Lehmann was born at the right time in the right place and into the right family. Born July 11, 1862 in London during the height of Queen Victoria's both her parents were involved in the arts: her father was a painter and her mother a musician. These beneficial circumstances along with her ambition and talent made Liza Lehmann a successful composer.
